Christmas fayre

High Bank Day Nursery has taken its fundraising efforts for a local mental health charity to £1,700 after staging a Christmas fayre.

We raised £920 for our charity of the year, Darlington Mind.

Combined with the £160 we raised by selling homemade apple crumbles and £620 at a car boot sale in September, this takes the total so far to £1,700.

A great start

High Bank Day Nursery got its fundraising efforts off to a great start by raising over £600 for a local mental health charity.

We recently held a car boot sale in aid of its charity of the year, Darlington Mind

The event, which took place in a field at High Bank Farm, on the outskirts of Stapleton, saw people being charged £10 a car to sell their wares, with shoppers paying £2.50 for entry, which included a bacon sandwich and coffee on arrival.

Christmas fayre

Christmas is coming early at High Bank as we stage our latest fundraising event – a Christmas Fayre – to support our charity of the year.

So far this year, we have raised £1,500 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS)

We are hoping our latest event, a Christmas fayre taking place between 10am and 2pm this Saturday (17th November) will take us over the £2,000 mark for the year.
