Infection control course

High Bank Day Nursery has become the first in the country to sign-up to a specialist infection control course designed specifically for early year settings which have re-opened following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Staff at the nursery are all taking the online course as part of the measures both nurseries have taken to protect children, staff, and parents from Coronavirus. On successful completion of the course, staff receive a personalised certificate.

Outdoor learning

A farm-based day nursery has taken outdoor learning to a new level as part of a raft of measures to protect children, staff and parents from Coronavirus.

Like all children’s nurseries across the UK, High Bank Day Nursery re-opened on Government guidance from Monday (1st June).

The great outdoors

There’s nothing better than being outside in the great outdoors and there was plenty of that happening at High Bank during February.

Our babies started the month by wrapping up warm so they could enjoy our farm area. They loved visiting Frank the pig, chickens, goats and all the other animals as well.

Tweenies always look forward to Boogie Beats and one of the latest sessions saw them holding and lifting a large parachute whilst they sang and danced to the music.
