A fun-packed time

The weather in August may not have been great, but it didn’t stop our little learners having a fun-packed time.

The children are enjoying getting to know Bert and Ernie, our new guinea pigs, and tweenies were queuing up to give them cuddles and feed them treats.

Our gardening club goes from strength to strength and toddlers enjoyed picking and then eating the potatoes which were made into a yummy curry by Minnie.

Toddlers have also been learning about the importance of looking after their teeth and using toothpaste and brushes, they practised brushing some pretend teeth so they will be experts when it comes to brushing their own. You can never start learning about oral health too early!

At their next gardening club, toddlers picked some of the fruit we have been growing. They then enjoyed cutting up the fruit and trying different textures and flavours.

Much of the month was taken up planning our car boot sale in aid of Darlington Mind, our charity of the year, but more on that when we update you on our September activities…..

If you would like your child to come to High Bank please fill out our online enquiry form.
