We are looking for a dynamic practitioner with a good imagination and an enthusiasm for Early Years.

We need someone who can work professionally as part of a team and who can also work autonomously using their own initiative when required. You must be committed to striving for excellence in order to provide the best possible outcomes for children.

You will be expected to provide a high quality teaching role that is committed to ensuring that children are highly challenged and engaged in their play and that their needs and interests are met at all times. Due to continued changing legislation in this sector you must be dedicated to your continuing professional development and be ready to be part of a team where reflecting on practice is standard.

You should be able to critique your own practice enabling you to build upon your strengths and areas for development. You should enjoy working outdoors and being situated on a farm it would be beneficial if you like animals.

You will be expected to promote independence and life skills in children supporting them in risk taking and supporting all characteristics of effective learning.

It is essential that you have patience, resilience and a thirst for learning to provide a good role model to the children. You will need to understand the importance of providing positive reinforcement and the effect that positive relationships have on children’s emotional well-being.

You should understand how to promote British values in children through the EYFS. It is also essential that you have good organisational skills.
