Nursery Fees
A chart showing High Bank Nursery’s full day and half day fees for 2010 can be viewed here. Options for funding your child’s nursery education can be viewed below.
Government Childcare Vouchers
The Government’s Childcare Voucher scheme can be used as part of an employee benefit provided by an employer. Employees elect to take up to a maximum of £55 per week (£243 a month) of their salary as Childcare Vouchers.
The amount chosen does not attract Income Tax or National Insurance contributions and how much you save depends on your current salary. More information can be found at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childcare.
Working Tax Credits
If you are working more than 15 hours per week you may be entitled to financial help towards your nursery fees, through the Working Tax Credits scheme. More information can be found at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/menus/credits.htm.
Early Years Entitlement
From the term after your child’s third birthday until they start school, your child is entitled to up to 12.5 hours of free learning each week, which is equivalent to up to two and a half full days. This is set to rise to 15 hours in 2010. The Government provides the funding direct to the nursery and we make the discounts to your monthly fee.
