About us

High Bank Day Nursery opened in 2003 and is situated in the village of Stapleton, North Yorkshire. Operating from five rooms in a renovated building on a working farm, the nursery provides places for children aged six weeks to five-years-old. We have Ofsted registration for 68 children in total.

The farm is fully incorporated into the day-to-day activities of the nursery, providing the children with a wonderful opportunity to sample the delights of the great outdoors in a truly unique setting. A large purpose-built play area, complete with nectar bar to attract butterflies, mud pit, role play shop, open air theatre, vegetable patch and numerous play equipment, further adds to this experience

We also provide breakfast club and holiday club services.

In our last Ofsted report  High Bank was rated as ‘Good’, with inspectors noting that the children love coming to nursery and that they are well stimulated by the environment they are in.
